Prepare your Heroes! The Age of Vitality is upon us!

Please arrive 15 minutes early! Promos will be distributed according to the schedule at rankedinfo.dicethrone.com

•  🚨 If you arrive late and matches have already begun, you will be disqualified from the tournament. Please be on time!

🚨 Each Player MUST bring 3 of their own heroes.🚨

• These heroes will remain the same throughout the tournament.
• See below for a list of allowed heroes. (Find the 🎲.)
• Bring 3, Ban 1 - Each round between 2 participants will be a single game.
• Time for each round: 30 minutes.
• Ties are allowed each round.  

🏆 Swiss Tournament Details

✨New!✨ - Round counts have changed for the Age of Vitality, and will be generated automatically by Challonge based on the player count! 

Number of Rounds Based on Player Count:

- 5 - 8 players = 3 Rounds

- 9 - 16 Players = 4 Rounds

- 17 - 32 Players = 5 Rounds

- 33 - 64 Players = 6 Rounds

- 65 - 128 Players = 7 Rounds

How To Earn Points

• Win = 3 Points
• Tie = 1 Point
• Loss = 0 Points
• At the end of the rounds, the player with the most points wins.

🎒 How to Prepare:

• Plan to arrive 15 minutes early.
• Promo and Mythic cards will not be allowed, so please take the time to remove any Promo and/or Mythic cards from your selected heroes before the tournament.
• Verify you have tournament allowed heroes and updated leaflets (more info below, find the 🎲)
• Ensure that all hero decks include only the standard cards for that hero, matching the number of cards listed on their leaflet. Duplicates of cards will not be allowed.
• Remove Buh, Bye! from character decks.

⏰ Start of the Round

🚨 Each player will roll twice. Once to determine first to ban. Another to determine first player. 🚨

FIRST ROLL - Determine First Participant to Ban ❎

• Each player rolls a die. Highest value wins. 
• Winner of the die roll can:
• Be first or second player to ban 1 of their opponents 3 characters.

SECOND ROLL - Determine First Player ⭐

• Roll a die, highest value wins.

Winner of the die roll can:

• Choose to be first player, and make the first hero choice.
  

OR

• Have the opponent (the other player) be the first player, and make the hero choice.

🚨 Important Information

• Each participant to keep track of the starting player.
• First player skips income phase.
• Once the 30 minute timer is complete and time is called:
• Play continues until both players have completed an equal number of turns.
• Once an equal number of turns have been completed, the match ends immediately.
• Player with the highest health is considered the winner.
• If the players have an equal number of health (same number on the health dial) the match is considered a tie.

• Wins vs Tied Participants
• Median-Buchholtz System
• Points Difference (aka Health Difference).

• Season One Heroes (aka Season One Rerolled) - The most recent printing removed the word “rerolled” from the box.
• Hero List: Barbarian, Moon Elf, Pyromancer, Shadow Thief, Monk, Paladin, Ninja, Treant.

• 🚨 Required Starting Jan. 1st, 2025: Updated leaflets for Tactician, Huntress and Vampire Lord. Most recent copies of Tactician, Huntress and Vampire Lord are provided with updated leaflets. You can verify your copy / print a copy, or order an official copy from the store. Purchase updated Tactician, Huntress, and Vampire Lord leaflets from the Dice Throne web store here, or download free PDFs here.

• Any card which contains this Promo Banner (typically at the bottom) is not allowed: 
• Dice Throne Adventures content (Bosses,  Cards, etc...)
• Buh, Bye - Instant Action Card

Judges and Event Organizers may restrict use of these items at their discretion.

• Any playmats you would like to use.
• Any dice tray you would like to use.
• Any dice tower you would like to use.
• Any Age alternate art cards (Example: Age of Destruction alternate pyro board / destruction cards).
• Any Twice as Wild Worthy Cards

👍 Participant Eligibility

All Dice Throne event participants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be 10 years of age or older. 
• If between the ages of 10-15 years old, a parent/guardian must be present.
• Must not be suspended from Dice Throne Registered Event Play.
• Must not be an employee of Dice Throne, Inc.
